Hi everyone! Some exciting stuff has been happening in my life and I can’t wait to let you know all about it. The biggest news: I’m married!!!! I’m so excited to call Daniel my husband and start our life together. 

It’s certainly been a busy time for getting ready for this wedding. We’ve been planning it for over a year and seriously working on it since the summer. It has taken tons of time and help from everyone. This is partly why I haven’t been posting as much, but I’m so glad I got to go through this time and came out married to my best friend.

Our ceremony was outside but the weather was perfect. I couldn’t have been more happy with how everything turned out and I am so thankful for everyone who made it exactly how I pictured it. I’ll share photos here when I get them back from the photographers.

NaNoWriMo

Also, this past month I’ve been working again on my novel. I started it during NaNoWriMo in 2014 and have worked on it on and off since then. I’ve been writing some, planning some, and am excited to be participating in NaNoWriMo this year. I might be crazy since my wedding was November 4 with a honeymoon right after, but I have been itching to really write for so long and I think it’s time now.

I had over 57,000 words in my first draft going into NaNo and I’m hoping to write 50,000 more during the month. My goal for this draft is 130,000 words so that I have enough content to work with when editing. I will let you know how it goes but I am so excited to finish this story and dive into the revision process. I’m behind right now but we’ll see how far I can get.
