December Monthly Goals and November Review

I graduate this month!!!! 10 days to be exact. That is just crazy to me. I got into a car crash in December which really put a wrench in some things. Luckily no one was injured, but my car was totaled. So November was crazy but Thanksgiving was good and I’m glad I got to spend time with my family. Hopefully December goes more smoothly. I’m looking forward to being done with school and getting a little bit of a break. I also can’t wait for my fiancé to open his Christmas presents!

So, as usual, let’s start with the things that did and didn’t get done in November.

Successes

  • Get into the gym and do workouts to help my back
  • Blog once a week
  • Finish homework and prep for graduation
  • Wedding plan, specifically figure out wedding party

What didn’t happen

  • Win NaNoWriMo
  • Read 4 books
  • Journal at least once
  • Find someone to take over my lease after I graduate

I didn’t win NaNoWriMo, and I kind of knew I wouldn’t going into it. Trying to graduate college and find a job is just a lot of work.  I did write over 2000 words and hopefully I’ll be able to get back to it after graduation. Same with reading. I read three books which is pretty close to my goal of four! It’s not a lot for me, but it’s definitely better than nothing.

I also didn’t journal even though it’s something I thought about doing often, I’ve started moving a lot of stuff out of my apartment and have kept my journal there. Hopefully I can sit down and do that soon.

Last, but definitely not least, I still haven’t been able to find someone to sublease my apartment too. I’m hoping this works out soon because I really don’t want to/can’t pay for the apartment when I’m not even living in it! It’s something I’m still working on which leads us to…

December Goals

  • Sublease my apartment
  • Journal at least once
  • Read 4 books
  • Graduate
  • Blog once a week
  • Continue going to the gym at least 4x a week

What are some things you’re hoping to do before the new year?

Best,

Emily
