November Monthly Goals and October Review

I can’t believe that October is already over. This month flew by and it was full of so many amazing (and not so amazing) things! I got engaged, got a job, hurt my back, and loved dedicating time to this blog.

Let’s start with a wrap-up of my October goals.

Successes

  • Schedule my senior photo session with an amazing photographer I’m lucky to have worked with!
  • Keep up meal prepping and move on to the next Fit Girls Guide program
  • Read 4 books
  • Journal at least once. I think this will round out the journal I’m currently writing in so I can start another
  • Prep for NaNoWriMo
  • Blog once a week
  • Get ahead on my school assignments
  • Fix at least half of the photos on the blog that got lost during the hosting transfer

Need to keep working on

  • Run every week, and get my 5k time to 30 minutes
  • Apply to all the jobs in my jobs bookmarks (graduation is approaching soon!)
  • Save money!

Overall, I accomplished a lot of what I wanted to! Maybe these monthly goals actually do help! I didn’t meet my 5k goal this month because I injured my back. This also means I can’t run the race I was planning to in November. Hopefully, my back is fully healed soon so I can get back into running. I’m really hoping to do a 10k in 2018.

I didn’t apply to all the jobs I bookmarked because I kept adding more! However, I did apply to quite a few and received a job offer last month!

It was such a crazy month and I wasn’t able to save money. Hopefully, now that my paychecks are regular I’ll be able to.

Now on to the main event

November Goals

  • Win NaNoWriMo
  • Get into the gym and do workouts to help my back
  • Read 4 books
  • Journal at least once
  • Save money
  • Blog once a week
  • Finish homework and prep for graduation
  • Find someone to take over my lease after I graduate
  • Wedding plan, specifically figure out wedding party

I think I can get all of these things done with a little bit of hard work. It’s a crazy time in my life but I’m excited for everything that’s coming.

Best,
